Bob Macdonald

Bob Macdonald is a visionary entrepreneur known for transforming Bond into a global leader in customer loyalty and engagement. As Founder and Chairman of the Board, Bob provides strategic guidance and advisory support to the executive team, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term vision and growth.   

With over three decades of experience, Bob is a pioneer in the industry. While leading Maritz Canada, Bob adeptly integrated loyalty marketing and research entities to establish Bond Brand Loyalty, culminating in a successful management buyout in 2015. His forward-thinking approach, particularly in leveraging AI and technology, has propelled the company’s growth through innovative consulting and strategic expansions in Europe and the Americas. In 2023, a strategic investment from Mountaingate Capital, a Colorado-based private equity firm, further enhanced Bond’s reach and offerings, enabling it to better serve its clients and solidify its market leadership.

A life-long and avid student of history, he also enjoys skiing, golf, and hiking, all of which he does alongside his family.
